Cleaning is a sector where labour exploitation genuinely happens. This is what we do about it, stated voluntarily: we are below the turnover threshold that would make this statement mandatory.

Our business
Magic Touch Cleaning Solutions Ltd (company number 15693373) provides commercial deep-cleaning services, based in England and working across the UK. Work is delivered by small crews known personally to the director, supplemented for larger jobs by subcontractors engaged under written per-job agreements.
Our commitments
- Everyone working on our jobs has their right to work in the UK checked and documented before their first shift.
- Everyone is paid at or above the National Living Wage, directly, into their own bank account. We do not use unpaid trials.
- We do not retain identity documents, charge work-finding fees, or provide tied accommodation.
- Subcontractors sign per-job agreements that include these same commitments, and we will end the relationship of any supplier that breaches them.
- Cleaning chemicals and consumables are bought from established UK trade suppliers.
Raising a concern
Anyone, on any of our sites, can raise a concern about how someone is being treated: to the director in person, or to [email protected]. Concerns can also go directly to the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline on 08000 121 700. No one will face any detriment for raising one.
This statement is reviewed annually and was approved by the director.
